Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
I have joint custody of my son his mom has physical custody, she is being abused by her husband and seeing this is effecting my son negatively i want to obtain physical custody what can i do?

You should file for a motion to modify the custody order. In addition, if you believe abuse is in the home, you can call child protective services. In some cases, even if the child is not being abused, if there is abuse in the house, CPS may detetrmine that the child need to be removed from the home.
