Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Joint custody/child support

I was wondering if two parents are settling for joint custody, would the father still be entitled to child support? I am aware of Georgias new law, which states, child support would now be determined by both parents income, but I am wondering what would be the difference in joint custody, if one parent has the kids during school and the other parent gets them in the summer.

Thank you,

Re: Joint custody/child support

There still might be child support, depending on the numbers and parenting time.
