Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Ex and I have joint legal custody. Although he tells everyone he has full custody. Due to at the time I did not have a stable job, no ins. And assumed he would do right by our kids needing both of us. I allowed the ex to be the primary custodian (the dad). Now I'm constantly having to beg to see my kids. Doesn't tell me about appointments, school activities...etc. Me being the mother I should be doing these things. He constantly refuses me. I'm in the process of taking him to court to get full custody. Because I feel he's completely abusing the situation. What are my chances? I now have a good, stable job, ins and a good record. I have my own place (he lives with his mom). HELP!! I just need assurance.

The fact you are postuing here tells me your chances are near zero. If you filed without a lawyer, modifications without counsel rarely succeed or go well. And if you do have counsel and are posting here to get guesses as to an outcome when you have counsel, it would mean you're not communicating well with your lawyer, which is almost as bad as not having one. If you want "assurance" please read this reply closely - you are assuring a bad outcome unless you engage good counsel to properly guide you. The fact you are seeking "full custody" already tells me that you have a huge problem - as that almost never is granted and rarely would be the outcome unless he is a child molestor or dangerous felon. A change in joint custody to increase your parenting time and decisionmaking is far more likely, so hopefully what you already messed up is ficable, and the earlier you are in the case, the better. Good luck.
