Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
Joint Legal Custody
Does this term mean that BOTH parents have a FINANCIAL responsiblity? There is no mention in the papers who is responsible for medical - do I have to pay for medical? I do NOT have physical custody.

Re: Joint Legal Custody
Without reading your papers, your question is unanswerable.
You don't say how long ago your papers were drawn, but if you had a custody case where your lawyer neglected to deal with medical care and you are within the two year statute of limitations, consider suing your law for malpractice (I don't handle that but it may be a case worth looking into). Also consider going back into court to resolve the issue.
