keeping the kids

my wife left me when i was on vacation . she moved out and took both of my children. i pay every week for what ever the children need.i keep all the reciepets for what ever i buy for them. she is living with another couple. and she asked me to come over and talk and i went over there to talk and the guy she is staying with come out and started to fight with me. i got in my truck and left. now i am suppost to pick them up this weekend. what i was wanting to know.can i keep them and not return them to her? bc she does not have a job and has not has a job in 2 years. can she have me arrested for not returning the children? i will go on monday to talk to a attorney.
