Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
What can I do about late child support? We recentely finished a modification through CSR and his employment was verified. The problem is, is that we have not recieved anything child support at all since court. I recieved a letter from CSR that stated child support will begin 30 days from their notice. It has been 3 months and we still have not recieved anything. Due to the fact that we live in different counties, our visitation sometimes cause for me to take our daughter to his job, therefore I am very sure he is employed. I have contacted the Georgia General Attorney, I have calle legal aid (Famil Law) and CSR. I don't know my legal rights at this point. HELP!!!

Calling the attorney general and legal aid is NOT what to do.
You have two choices. Let teh state continue to represent you and deal with them, or hire private counsel. Additionally, once he goes 30 days without payingyou can swear out a criminal abandonment warrant and have him arrested.
