Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

laws for the period between separation and divorce???

My husband and I have been separated for a year. I requested a divorce two weeks ago. He disagreed. Is there a law to protect me from letting coming back to my house during this period? I am afriad that he will hurt me, since he is gettin to the point where he said that he does not care about anything, but he will do whatever he has to do. Although he has never been violent to me, he has a tendency to be out of control.

Thank you

You can get a temporary protective order at the time you file for divorce. For more details, consult with a local attorney.
