Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My lawyer says that she does not want to use the phrase "make my inheritance whole" She says she wants to call the money "a property settlement." My husband spent in the last 5 years the entire $307,000 that I inherited from my father. He said he spent the money "on household expenses and paying off properties" Yet at the same time, during these last 5 years, he has spent more than this amount on leasing a Cessna 421 and flying his girlfriend all over the country staying in expensive hotels and dining out and on entertainment. He bought 2 $5000 shotguns and a golf cart and trailer for $4500 for his skeet-shooting hobby, spending thousands more on ammo and tournaments. All this was new info for me after filing for divorce. My job requires I be out of town frequently and he handled all finances. How can I recover this money and wouldn't it be better to call the $307,000 which it was? My lawyer simply says," She knows what she is doing."
