Leagal separration

How do I go about and get one? Separation. Will they have my spose help support me until divorce decision?

Georgia does not have legal separations. (There is a little used case called separate maintenance that can seek alimony or child support without a divorce, and it usually wastes money as the issues get reargued in the subsequent divorce and can be addressed by temporary orders in a divorce anyway).
