Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I am have legal custody of my children. however their father is refusing to return them to me. Also, we have never been married. he is alledging that he has filed to legitizime the children. however, I have not been served any papers. my question is Isn't he violating the law because legally he is not the custodial parent i am. my lawyer doesn't understand why the police will not go and seve him papers to return the children back to me. Isn't he is violating the law. Help GA

You claim you have a lawyer. Because you do, no one can assist you and you should expect help from your lawyer. If the facts are as you say, it should be easy for you to get an arrest warrant for kidnapping. Ask him how to proceed.
