Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

have had legal custody of my Grandson for 8 years, would like to adopt. How do I go about it. Both parents will agree. Can I do adoption on my own?

Adoptions require a lawyer and are very technical even with consent. The consent will greatly lower the cost.
