Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Legal marriage?

I have been ''married'' for 13 years. But on the original marriage certificate at the time my husband lied about his name (using a nickname not his given birth name for the first name) his date of birth, and his place of birth. We had a child at the time so I stayed married but am now considering divorce. But considering the false info given have wondered if we are really even married legally? We have 3 kids, and it has always been a sore issue. I didn't even know all of the truth until the 2nd child was born. So our first child's birth certificate is incorrect also. Just curious. Have been considering this for a few years and just in a position to possibly go through with everything.

Re: Legal marriage?

The marriage is probably valid. However you should consuld with a local attorney to review all of the facts.
