Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Legal Separation

I live in California and have been married for 30 years. We are getting a legal separation due to my medical condition. I have to move to Georgia to live with my sister for financial reasons. I read that Georgia doesn't recognize legal separation. Am I going to have a problem here. Thanks

Re: Legal Separation

Though thre is no legal separation in Georgia, the Courts here will recognize a court order from another state, especially when it comes to child custody and child support.
