Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Legally can have locks re-keyed & not let cheatin hubby back in unless it's wit

I have been a stay at home mom now for 15 years and wanting to divorce my now (2nd) husband. He's fighting it,,,(VERY CONTROLLING). I have asked him to leave but he won't, he just laughs & says I'll have to get an attorney yet he's taken all of our family savings (EVERY LAST DIME) and left town to Florida so that I couldn't use any of the money to get legal advise or do anything. I need to know if legally I can remove his belongings into storage, sell his paid for car (thats in my name), and have the locks re-keyed? I DON'T WANT HIM TO COME BACK. i WANT A LEGAL SEPERATION...AM I ENTITLED TO ALAMONY & CHILD SUPPORT if I'm the one persuing this? Am I entitled to any of the cash he took from our safe...theres no proof we ever had that money?

To make matters worse...he's been basically un-employed yet working under the table and making a TON of money! He just doesn't want to share any of it. Is there anything I can do to fight for my fair portion (half)?

I would strongly advise you to hire a local attorney right away. You may sell property that you own or that both of you own, but if it is in his name, than you can't dispose of it. In addition, there may be some complications with changing the locks.

If you would like to discuss any issues further, please feel free to contact my office. My contact information is below. Thank you.
