Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
legitimation visitation for fathers
How can a non custodial father whose is in the process of filing for legitimation of his newborn ensure that the visitation process will go smoothly even though the mother is NOT cooperating claims she is afraid of the father. How can he protect himself from false allegations. (she is basically saying she does not want him to see the child because she is afraid he will do physical harm to her(not the child the mother) This is not true but she is ''preparing'' so when I go for visitation she can hope to get no supervision or supervised. She is jealous of my relationship with fiancee whom I plan to marry and wants to destroy my relationship with my newborn because we are not together.

Re: legitimation visitation for fathers
You will need a clear, written visitation schedule and documentation to support your position that Mother has no reasonable basis for the "fear" that she is expressing. My office has handled many legitimization/parentage cases successfully. Please let me know if we can help you.

There are a number of ways to prove that her allegations are false. I suggest that you contact a local attorney to represent you when filing for visitation. Feel free to contact my office for further consultation on this issue.
