Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I would like to legitmate a child in Georgia and file for custody. Will I have to pay child support just to legitimate the child ?

Georgia law requires that both parents support their children. Whether or not you legitimate, you are required to provide child support. I suggest you speak with an attorney if you are going for custody.
