Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

ok i live in GA and the man i have been with since 1995 past away 7/7/2010 we have to kids one is 6 yrs old and then the other is 19 i know the 6 yr old can drew death benf...but can i?i belive i fall under the common marriage thing but not really sure and as far as i know the 19yr is can not because he is too old..

Georgia recognizes common law marriages entered into before January 1, 1997. I'd need more information to know if you qualify.
