Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
I live in georgia and pay child support for my daughter who resides in Minnesota. I have never seen my six year old child. My ex-wife has remarried and wants me to release my parental rights. I am willing to do this. Can I fill out forms from Georgia or do I have to go to Minnesota. My ex says I have to prepare the forms. Will family and children services in georgia do this for me.

Unless the step-dad is adopting the child, there is no such thing as what you are asking about. You are required, by state and federal law, to pay support until age 18. If there actually is an adoption, the attorney they hire to do the adoption is the one that would prepare documents (you cannot and your ex will not be competent to do it). There are no "forms to fill in." Family and childrens services is not a lawyer and they cannot give you any legal advice.
