We live in georgia and my 18 year old son has had sex with his fifteen yesr old girlfriend. What will he be charged with?

Statuatory rape is a strong possibility. (Other charges are possible too). For someone between the ages of 17 and 20, if convicted of statutory rape, he will serve between 1 and 20 years. However, it is considered a misdemeanor if the victim is 14 or 15 years of age and the person convicted is 1 to 3 years older, so that would limit his jail time to a year.

Get your son a very good lawyer, and get him counseling as well, so he doesn't continue to sexually abuse minors.
