Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I live in the state of GA and I am currently married. I have 3 children and the biological father has not been around in 6 years meaning, no child support nor has he seen them. I filed a child abandonment charge against him but he skipped out on bail. My husband now has been taking care of all three for the past five and he wants to legally adopt them. How can I remove the biological fathers name off of their birth certificate and let my husband adopt them?
