Could I lose my house or pay alimony?

My house was bought before I met my wife, it is soley in my name as well as the bills, she has 2 kids from previous relationships, I am now looking to get a divorce(married 2 yrs)but afraid that she will be awarded my house, can that happen? Also would I have to pay alimony? and her daughter's dad is no where to be found, I dont have to pay child support on her do I?(she is 11) I am in Gwinnett Co. and am not sure where to begin.

You can only be made to support your own children, not others (unless you adopt them).

As a general rule, a home owned before the marriage remains yours, unless she significantly affected the value during the marriage.

We'd have to know a lot more about your situation to discuss alimony.
