Want my maiden name back

I was married on 1988 in GA, divorced on 1996 in FL. I was living in GA at the time of my divorce. I had my name changed on all documents back to maiden name except my license. DMV stated that it had to be in divorce decree according to GA law. DMV hypenated maiden name and married name. How do I get DMV to change license back to maiden name? It is not stipulated in divorce decree that I go back to my maiden name. How is the law read on married in one state, divored in another? I want all my IDs to have maiden name. Will I need an attorney? What about name change kit online? Help.

You must do a name change in superior court (If your drivers license and social security remain unmatched the state will soon suspend your license until you do, under the Patriot Act, so you should hurry).
