Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

If a man was order in a divorce to pay $950.00. $50.00 a month to his ex wife. and she owed for a computer totaling $400.00, he pays $550.00 and writes on the last check that they are even for car and computer. keep in mind she's never made a payment. And she signs and cashes the check. Doesn't that seal the deal? When she cashed check she acepted the terms? Can she 5months later take him to court for the money?

What does the Court Order say? That will give you your answer. You won't find many judges who bellieve that writing something on a check has greater authority than their orders.
