Marital property

If a husband and wife seperate with intentions of divorcing and they have a boat in the wifes name. Can she sell the boat or is it considered marital property?

Unless and until there is a court order stopping either party from disposing of property, since it's in her name, she can sell it. However, the boat and therefore the proceeds can be considered marital property. Consult with a local attorney.

I meant to say "an attorney in the county where the divorce will be."
