Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
Marriage
Can two people get married and share benefits without living at the same address? I am considering marrying my friend because she can add me to her insurance and it would be cheaper for me. I don't see where this is a problem if you are legally married. Please let me know. Thanks!!

Re: Marriage
Once you are married, you can live wherever and however you want. One potential danger is if one party wants to marry someone else and forgets about the marriage of convenience, resulting in a bigamous mess. Another pitfall is if one party, during the marriage, comes into a financial windfall and the other party decides he/she wants a part of it.
