Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
Does a married couple need an attorney to prepare papers for a Legal seperation? If no who is qualified to do this?

Since there is no such thing in Georgia, I'm not quite sure how to respond.
In Georgia there are no legal separations. You can seek a divorce and you certainly should get a lawyer for that. (Georgia does have a unique and rarely used provision for separate maintenance and you also should see a lawyer if you are considering that).

Well, you don't HAVE to have a lawyer, just as I don't HAVE to use a mechanic to fix my car. I am free to get under the hood and mess around, knowing full well that I will probably do more harm than good. Advice: Consult with lawyer.
