Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
I am married. The mortage for our home is only in my name (wife), but my husband's name is on the deed with mine. In a divorce how would this play out?

It can play out in a number of different ways based on the wishes of each party.
If you plan on filing for divorce and you have a mortgage in your name, it would be wise to have an attorney.

It can play out in many ways as judges can change title and decide who pays. You definitely need a lawyer for a divorce if that is coming. I'd be glad to discuss it with you. Call me at 404-768-3509.
