Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My ex and I married in VA but divorced in MI. A child support order was issued from MI upon our divorce. Now the child support case has been transferred to VA and neither of us lives there. I live in Georgia and he lives in Ohio. Can you tell me why VA has the case and not Georgia? Keep in mind that I never asked for an increase in support in 14 years. I only received the checks when they were issued.

You are asking for a guess, since obviously one here knows what pleadings and orders say. It also doesn't really matter what the answer is here, because whatever the reason you'll need a lawyer to make sure it is in the appropriate court.
