Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Been married two years, with husband 6 1/2 years. we are seperated now. He is my sole provider due to medical problems (rheumatiod arthritis, degenerating disk, injections to neck/back bi-weekly, high blood pressure, etc.). He refuses to help me financially and he receives over 7000. monthly. What can I do.

You could seek a local attorney in the Columbus area to file for divorce and seek support

There are several possible grounds for divorce including:

(7) Willful and continued desertion by either of the parties for the term of one year;

(10) Cruel treatment, which shall consist of the willful infliction of pain, bodily or mental, upon the complaining party, such as reasonably justifies apprehension of danger to life, limb, or health;

(13) The marriage is irretrievably broken. Under no circumstances shall the court grant a divorce on this ground until not less than 30 days from the date of service on the respondent.
