Matter of contempt family law

My ex refuses to pay me the full amount the judge ordered him to pay in lump sum alimony in aug 2005 final decree he also never paid me the reimpbursement for my presriptions that he was ordered to do in the temporary hearing in jan 2005 i am taking him to court this week for contempt do i have a chance to get this money since its been so long? He has contersued me should i respond or just take my evidence to court i am so nervous about representing myself

I don't see the time lag as a problem. However, I strongly suggest you get an attorney.
