I started my practice before I was married can my spouse take it in our divorce?

To the extent that a medical practice gained value during a marriage it could be divided, unless you hired a lawyer before marriage and drafted a prenuptial agreement as to such claims. Additionally, the income from your practice can be sought as alimony and/or child support.
