Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I'm a military member stationed in South Korea with a spouse who currently resides in Georgia. How would I go about getting a divorce being stationed here and is it possible to start this process on my own if my spouse is unwilling to cooperate with me?

You can file for a divorce here in Georgia. I often represent out of state and out of country clients. It is a matter of sending originals via Fed Ex or other international delivery systems, or scanning and emailing. At some point you may have to come for a scheduled hearing if the case cannot be resolved. Otherwise, you do not have to be here. I would not suggest you attempting this long distance without an attorney.
