modification of alimony support
My ex-wife and I have agreed to a reduction in the monthly alimony amount. Can I draw up an agreement myself? Will it be legal? Do I have to file it with the court? If so, what do I file? Do I need an attorney or can I do it myself? Is there a standard georgia form that I need to use?

A change in a court order can only be done by court order. If both parties are agreeable and a lawyer is used, some counties will grant it without a hearing, which holds the costs down.
