Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
Modification issues
My husband filed for a visitation modification in October 2007. The modification included his ex covering his daughter under her health insurance. It didn't state anything about him paying half of anything not covered. The original decree did, but it's it true that once you do a modification everything that is covered in the modification makes those items covered in the original null an void

Re: Modification issues
Not necessarily. If a certain provision or clause wasn't modified, then most likely the original version of the non-modified clauses is still effective (and it usually says that in the modification order if done properly). I'd have to see the judgment and any modification orders to be certain.

Re: Modification issues
The only way to answer your question is to read the document (the best person to ask is the lawyer who represented your husband). If he was unrepresented, then he should immediately see a lawyer to determine what the answer is (it usually is the opposite of what you assume). Call me if I can help with reviewing the document.
