modification of visitation order

My ex was arrested on a felony meth possesion charge and told no one, he was sentenced to six years probation and violated it and is now in jail awaiting court, can I take his visitation rights from him?

As a general rule, judges do not like eliminating visitation. You may want to consider seeking some modification, perhaps to add supervision. That will usually be a difficult and expensive processs unless he agrees, but it's also somwhat irrelevant while he is in jail. To determine if this is a course of action to consider, you need to retain a lawyer and discuss the details.
