Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

When my Mom and Dad divorced my Mom was awarded the house. My dad did not ever sign off of the deed, now I think he might try to take the house or just in general cause problems for my Mom. How can I get him to sign it over? If nothing else Can I file contempt charges or is that something I need a lawyer for?

You don't need a lawyer because it is not your issue. Your Mom needs to see her lawyer and get it resolved.

You don't need a lawyer since you're the child.

Your mother should be seeing a lawyer to file for contempt and get the matter rectified.
