Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I am the mother of a 4 month baby and the father want to do joint custody and am not sure of the process. We stay in atlanta,ga fulton county area. I would also like to know if i decise to leave the state what process do i have to for that if we do the joint custody.

You can file a paternity action. The father can file legitimation. Child support will be addressed in both cases. You presently have custody as the child was born out of wedlock. I urge you to seek legal counsel so you clearly understand the ramifications of your decisions.
