Can I move to another state with my child if i never married the father, he signed the birth certificate, has not been legitimized, but has a verbal agreement for child support and visitation?

Sure. He has no rights legally. However, for the first six months after you go, he can file a court case in Georgia over custody and visitation, and the court might second guess you. Discuss the pros and cons with your lawyer before going.

If he has never legitimated the child he legally has no right to visitation or custody. He can always file, even after you have moved for 6 months. If you need to move, then move. If you wait until something is filed, it is more difficult. If you do move, I would let him know as soon as possible where the child is so it doesn't appear that you have him/her in hiding.
