Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Moving child out of state

My daughter lives in Georgia and may end up leaving her husband nad moving back to CA so we can help her out. She has a 1-year old with her husband. Without going through a divorce, can she legaly remove her child without her husband's approval/knowledge. She is in an abusive relationship... if this makes a difference. Thanks

Re: Moving child out of state

She can move anywhere. The court, however, might order her to return the child. She should contact a lawyer in Georgia.
