can non-custodial parent file for child support in another state? I was awarded custody in georgia and she absconded with child to florida and filed for and was granted child support there.

Consult with a local attorney. You may be able to file a contempt against her in the county where the divorce was granted.

I hope you have a court order or agreement regarding child custody. You should have had an attorney when she filed for child support to notify the court of her actions. Now, you should seek court intervention to get your daughter back.
