Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Trying to obtain custody of grandchild Help!!

My daughter asked me to babysit while she went to the store and didn't come back for three months. When she did come back she brought me a notarized paper stating that she had no legal rights nor financial or physical responsibilities to this child, is this legally binding??
