Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I have been offered a position with my company outside the state of Georgia (Michigan). Am I allowed to take my child with me? I am currently married, but divorce might be in the future.

Absent a pending divorce, yes. But be aware that when the divorce comes, a judge will want to know why you deliberately harmed the child by separating the child from your husband, and it could possibly cost you custody. Also, for the first six months after you move, your husband willl be able to force you back to Georgia to defend a custody case. In most cases this is an awful idea with severe consequences that you should be discussing with your lawyer.
