Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

looking for options to protect the safety of my children ages 14 and 8 after my ex wifes husband attempted suicide? we currently have joint custody of the children . and after the suicide attempt i have recently found out the step dad is back home and been around the children. the suicide attempt was supposedly due to a side effect of lyrica and ambien ?? but at this time no matter what caused the event my concerns for the kids safety is my #1 priority!! please any help or answers would greatly be appreciated
