Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I originally had full custody of my child, but in June 2012 after my divorce I decided to allow my ex to have joint custody. We went through the state supreme court for this. In Nov 2012, my ex filed a false PTO against me. She got mad with me and I guess to get me back she filed this order against me. I was served and had to go to court. At the hearing, the judge believe her over me. There was no evidence of threats that she accused me of. The judge ruled in her favor and said due to the nature of the PTO, he took custody away from me for a yeaar. Can the judge do this even though she lied and there was no evidence?

No one here has heard the case, seen the trial transcript, or read the pleadings, so there is no way to respond to you. You need to call your lawyer. If you had a case that went through a trial and an appeal to the state supreme court as you say, you certainly had one. Your lawyer is familiar with your case and can answer your questions.
