Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Parental Rights

My xwife had my drivers license revoked due to child support nonpayment. I have lost my job and my house becuase i am over the road truck driver.

She told me that if i signed my rights over to her, she would drop the case all together!

I need to know, if I do sign my rights over can she still have my license taken away again. I am at wits end on this.

I also wanted to ask, is there forms that I can receive via E-mail to fill out and send in for this matter?

Thank you,

Re: Parental Rights

A child has a right to receive support and neither your nor the mother have a right to prevent that. To get your license back, you need to pay support and need probably to have a lawyer assist you in negotiating a repayment plan (you may also possibly be able to set one up in a Chapter 13 bankruptcy).
