Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Ex parte order

My soon to be ex husband filed an ex parte order on me. It says I have to return the children to his custody. He filed it on false reasons saying I absconded to Fl with the children. He willingly handed them to me. My question is do I have to take them up to Georgia or can I say that he has to come get them. I left him over domestic violence and he has been harassing me since. I don't want to meet him in Georgia because I'm worried about my safety.

Re: Ex parte order

You have to do what the order tells you to do. No one here is going to second-guess a court order (or even try to explain it, since you did not say exactly what the order says). You need a lawyer with all the issues in your case.
