Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Paternity fraud

My husband found out that 2 of the 3 children born during his first marriage were not his, he no longer has to pay child support for those children and they have since met the biological father however, my husband over paid close to 30,000 to her. Is there any way that we can recoup the money from his ex wife or the biological father?

Re: Paternity fraud

Its possible but I would need to know how the paternity issue was resolved and the status. Additionally, did the father voluntarily acknowlede paternity of the child? If he did, then he may not be able to recover. I would be willing to discuss the matter in more detail if you like. I can be reached through my website at www.bgslaw-ga.com

Re: Paternity fraud

It is possible that he can found not to be liable for the support. However, you should consult with a local attorney ASAP.
