Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia
Paternity Rights in Georgia
I am an unwed mother expecting a child. I have a significant other but was engaged to someone else when I think I became pregnant. My question is what are the rights of the male since we are unwed. Do I have to let him see the child? Can I have my significant other sign the birth certificate?
Thanks

You can't force him. Consult with a local attorney.

It is a crime to falsify a borth certificate. The bio-father has a duty to support the child. Whether he gets visitation depends on you, or what a Judge later does.
