Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I am very perplexed because I was recently told that if I divorce my spouse he will be entitled to a percentage of my 401k and stock investment in the company I work for. How is this possible when he never invested one penny? The money is pulled from the check I work hard for every week. This is ludacris, please tell me this isn't true.

You might not think it's fair, but everything the two of you do during the marriage is subject to equitable division, be it a 401K, a home or anything else.
