Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Petition For Citation Of Contempt

How do I handle a charge of contempt for not continuing payments on a time share that I had been paying on my own when the plaintiff was already in contempt for not paying child support which would have gone towards the payment of the time share?

Hire an attorney. It's not clear from your post whether you have already filed a contempt case, abandonment case, or other case about the support (if not, that was likely a mistake), but you may need to file a counterclaim or something now. Again, get counsel immediately so as not to miss important deadlines.

You may be able to file a counterclaim for the other party's failure to meet his/her obligation. Consult with a local attorney.
